Worf’s adoptive parents were so amazing. They did everything in their power to make sure this orphaned Klingon child growing up on earth would still get to experience his culture & language, not pressuring him to take their surname, even learning to make rokeg blood pie. Then they take care of Alexander for years even though they’re getting up in age because he needs stability and a loving home.

But on the flip side Worf was a good son who loved his adoptive parents even though they were humans who worried too much & didn’t understand a warrior’s honor & probably told him he was overreacting all the time

One of my favorite humans-non humans example of how we can all co exist.

Beautiful moment and sentiment. I hope every family is such in future. And that adoption is common and normal.
